This year’s challenge is AI-powered and built on real Berlin data.
That is all you get for now. The full brief is released on the morning of Day 1, so every team starts from the same line.
What we can tell you is what you have to walk away with: a working prototype, pitched live to a panel of industry judges.

Prize: The winning team takes home trophies, online mentorship from DocMorris, and a paid two-month internship at Get The Flat for one member of the team. More prizes to be announced during the tournament.
Teams of five.
Every discipline counts.
Each team is made up of five members. We are looking for a mix of Data, Software Engineering and Web Development skills, with UX/UI a bonus rather than a requirement.
If your school cannot field five people on its own, you are welcome to join forces with another participating school.

The battle kicks off online. You will get the full challenge brief, meet your team, and start building.
- 10:00 CET: Challenge brief release.
- Rest of day: team set-up, data exploration, and build.
/Day 2
Tuesday 29 September | Remote
A full day of building, with one update to keep you on your toes.
- 16:00 CET: Feature update release.
- Rest of day: intensive development and integration.
/Day 3
Wednesday 28 September | In person @ 42 Berlin
The final day moves offline. Join us at the 42 Berlin campus to put the finishing touches on your prototype and pitch it live.
- 09:00 CET: Team meet-up and final touches [Flexible per team].
- 15:00 CET: Final pitches to the judging panel.
