The old way was to teach computers how to do. The new way is to teach computers how to learn.
Monday to Friday
The Data Science course is designed as your entryway into one of the most cutting-edge and progressive industries of the moment, as you will learn how to read and manipulate data, and how to get computers to ‘think’ by themselves.
The emergence of the digital economy has flooded companies with raw data which traditional tools are not equipped to process. This has led to Data Analysts becoming among the most sought-after and flexible professionals, able to find employment as Business Analysts, Financial Analysts, Marketing Analysts, Operations Analysts, Web Analysts, Product Analysts, and many more. More positions, from consultancy to machine-learning engineering, also become accessible with a solid qualification in Data Science.
This course will equip you with both the concepts and the practical skills to land your first job in the most dynamic branch of tech.
Many of the concepts you will learn will be new and unfamiliar to you. The material we’ll present you with will push you outside of your comfort zone. This is natural. Embrace it.
Before you can interpret data, you must gather it, process it, compare it. This is called quantitative work, and while it does not demand any special aptitude or preparation, it does require the willingness and the patience to work with numbers.
Our bootcamp is open to international students, and it is in English. You don’t have to be a native speaker, but you should know the language well enough to be able to follow a class, and communicate with your fellow students, without slowing everyone else down.
Our virtual platform, where you will meet your instructors and study alongside your peers, is online. To join us, you will need a computer or a laptop connected to the Internet, along with speakers/headphones and a microphone.
Data Science requires patience and hard work, yes. But it’s not something only the most brilliant minds of this world can do, and it’s fine if you haven’t done any mathematics since school.
You don’t need any qualifications related to computer science or programming. Our bootcamp assumes no prior knowledge and covers the basics of the field in the first few weeks.
You are here to learn together with others, not to outdo them. A collaborative, friendly attitude is essential, and your only benchmark for progress should be yourself.
You will learn how to read, organise and leverage the enormous amount of data generated by business interactions online. From the mathematical theory and the concepts underlying data science, to practical implementations allowing you and your company to predict a system’s behavior, this course covers a comprehensive and constantly updated range of technologies.
Expect to graduate with employable skills not just in interpreting and visualizing data, but in teaching computers to do that for you: the course includes a thorough induction in machine learning, an area of artificial intelligence which is one of the most rapidly-evolving fields of programming.
Learn how to read, clean, explore and visualise data from real businesses to deliver actionable recommendations and craft business proposals.
Learn the real use-cases of traditional hypotesis testing (A/B testing to optimise web UI/UX). You will use the modern tools for experimenting, but also understand the underlying statistical concepts.
Learn how to collect unique data from the internet using APIs, and use the power of cloud computing to build data pipelines from scratch.
Train and tune ML models to make predictions on housing prices and cluster songs to automate the creation of playlists.
Build one of the most popular Data Science products: a recommender system. Then, get ready for data interviews with one last push of SQL advanced exercises.
Choose a topic that suits your career objectives to master and broaden the skills that you will need in your job applications. Create a top-notch unique data portfolio with the guidance of our instructors.

Before the bootcamp you will be given access to our Primer. Think of it as a ‘mini-course’, inclusive of exercises and full-time support by one of our junior instructors, intended to introduce you to the basic concepts you’ll be dealing with in your classes. The Primer takes 2 weeks and its purpose is to make sure each student has the core notions necessary to hit the ground running at the start of the bootcamp.
At the end of the bootcamp, our students are given the opportunity to present their final projects to our entire community as part of our grand Demo Day event. They can also have their presentation recorded on video, with a view towards sharing it with prospective employers. Click on the videos to see for yourself what their projects look like and what level our students have reached. Remember – in 15 weeks, you will be able to do the same!
During the course, the structure of the weeks will vary to adapt to the learning content of the moment, but in general this is what a typical week looks like. Please note that the course is also available in a part-time format if the following schedule is not suitable for you.
Our instructors are hands-on professionals from the world of Data Science, with a proven track record in the industry and a passion for helping others learn. Each bootcamp has its own designated instructor, who will act as your personal tutor and check on your progress from the first to the last of your 15 weeks with us. Our bootcamp is a challenge – but it’s a challenge you won’t have to face alone.
Students who complete our course will be awarded a WBS CODING SCHOOL Graduation Certificate. The document testifies to future or potential employers the acquisition of precise coding skills in accordance with the selected course. Expect this to become a staple of your tech-related CV or professional profile.
So graduation is over and it’s time to work – what to expect?
Our pioneering hybrid concept offers a unique learning experience which lets you enjoy the comforts of remote study and reap the benefits of learning on campus, all in a single course. For those who do not wish to travel to Berlin, we also offer a more established learning protocol in the form of an online-only course, designed to set new industry standards and optimised to the needs of those studying from home.
For the first 13 weeks you will study remotely on our virtual learning platform together with your classmates. Live and interactive coding classes led by professional instructors, lectures, workshops, team coding challenges and much more – and you decide whether to join from home, from your family retreat, or from your favorite neighbourhood Cafe.
And for the final 2 weeks you can choose between coming to our Berlin Campus or continuing remotely.

Our application process is designed to guide you, gently but clearly, into the course you want to take. Just follow these three steps:
(10 min ~ 30 min)
Solve our data challenge. The purpose of this step is to allow us to evaluate your level of experience, and of course to ensure we are enrolling motivated students. If you find yourself struggling, just send us a line. We’re here to help, particularly if you’re inexperienced!
Time to get to know each other! Schedule a 30 minute interview with one of our Admission Managers and introduce yourself. We’ll want to know a little bit more about you, particularly what makes you get up in the morning and why you want to learn to code. You can also ask any questions of your own, or clarify anything you’re still uncertain about.
Get in touch with us, and we will be more than happy to answer all of your questions.
We will get back to you as soon as possible.
