mein NOW is Germany’s national online portal for professional development. It’s run by the Bundesagentur für Arbeit alongside the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, it’s been live since January 2024, and it’s free to use.
It includes information about career fields, self-assestment tests, a database of Agentur für Arbeit approved courses, and an overview of funding opportunities you may be entitled to.

Register through BundID, ELSTER or directly on the portal, so you can save courses, keep track of what you've looked at, and pick your search back up where you left it.
The retraining and funding system can be confusing, and can hinder a lot of people from applying. The portal mein NOW makes the system more accessible by putting in one place courses, opportunities and financial support information.
Every course we list on mein NOW is AZAV certified. This means, you can get financial support from the Agentur für Arbeit through a Bildungsgutschein for any of our courses on mein NOW.
mein NOW is administered directly by the Bundesagentur für Arbeit: both you and your advisor can find the courses, and the Bildungsgutschein can be applied directly to the course you’re interested in.

It’s the successor. KURSNET was the Bundesagentur für Arbeit’s course database, and that database now lives inside mein NOW under Weiterbildungssuche. If you were looking for KURSNET, you’re in the right place.
Search the Weiterbildungen section by keyword, then filter by format, duration, start date and location. Because our courses are remote, select the online filter to see everything we run no matter where in Germany you are. Our own filtered list is further up this page if you’d rather start there.
You apply with us, not through the portal. Find the course on mein NOW or on our site, then start your application here. We’ll talk you through the Bildungsgutschein process, including what to prepare for your appointment with the Agentur für Arbeit.
