This is where the building starts. Participants learn what separates assistants, automations and agents, and how classic automation differs from AI automation. They identify the use cases worth automating in their own role, then take their first steps in Make and n8n. From here to module 7, they are building.
n8n in depth. Participants work with the nodes that matter, master workflow logic, learn to handle and transform data, catch errors before they break a run, and connect to external services through APIs. The week ends with a first working workflow prototype.
From workflows to agents. Prompting for agentic workflows, tool calling so an agent can act rather than only answer, how multi-agent systems divide work between them, and the Model Context Protocol that connects agents to your tools. Participants build a prototype where several agents work together.
An automation that nobody documents or watches will eventually fail quietly, which is worse than failing loudly. This module covers workflow documentation, governance, cybersecurity fundamentals and production infrastructure, then human-in-the-loop patterns and monitoring, so your team knows when to keep a person in the decision and how to tell something has gone wrong.
Participants choose the project, build it and present it. Most pick something from their own role, so your company ends up with an automation that is already running.
With the Qualification Opportunities Act (QCG), the German government supports the competitiveness of employees. You can benefit from up to 100 % coverage of training costs for your staff and up to 75 % coverage of wages during the qualification period.
