Become a Full-Stack Web & App Developer by studying in the evenings and on Saturdays!
24 weeks of classes
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 18:30 to 21:30 (CET)
The rewards of full-time education aren’t always available for those who lead a busy life. Let us solve that problem for you.
Organized around online classes taking place on evenings and on Saturdays, the Part-Time Full-Stack Web & App developer bootcamp will equip you with a broad range of skills and technologies in cutting-edge web development, while leaving you the freedom to organize your time.
The part-time bootcamp is ideal for those who would like to start a career in tech with no prior experience, but it also offers a perfect opportunity for those already in a tech-related field who are looking to add certified skills to their profile.
Many of the concepts you will learn will be new and unfamiliar to you. The material we’ll present you with will push you outside of your comfort zone. This is natural. Embrace it.
Our bootcamp is open to international students, and it is in English. You don’t have to be a native speaker, but you should know the language well enough to be able to follow a class, and communicate with your fellow students.
Our virtual platform, where you will meet your instructors and study alongside your peers, is online. To join us, you will need a computer or a laptop connected to the Internet, along with speakers/headphones and a microphone.
Computer code sometimes breaks, misfires, and generally does things you do not expect it to. When that happens, you need to approach the problem with a cool head and patience.
Our bootcamp assumes no prior knowledge. The elementary aspects of coding will be covered in the primer, and the basics in the first few weeks. It’s fine if you’ve never coded before at all. Remember that every master knew nothing at the beginning.
Coding is fundamentally about building things, not about numbers or calculations. While it requires a measure of abstract, logical thinking, this is not the same as demanding any special intuition for equations or geometric shapes. Many of our graduates never touched maths since high school.
You are here to learn together with others, not to outdo them. A collaborative, friendly attitude is essential, and your only benchmark for progress should be yourself.
The part-time bootcamp lasts 26 weeks, including two one-week breaks. There are three-hour evening classes every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and a full day of teaching on Saturdays. In that time, expect to become proficient with a wide variety of technologies used in web development, and to find out how to build from scratch your own websites and Apps. You will learn in depth about the functionality and interactivity of software, no less than about its final design and presentation. Expect to be ready to apply for jobs the moment you graduate.
Learn how to work efficiently with the Console and with Git, essential tools which will make your life as a developer easier. You will also pick up the basics of website design.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Get to know the basics of website design and turn a PSD file into code.
Git is an Open Source Distributed Version Control System which helps to avoid code conflicts between developers.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) enable external software to communicate with your program.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Structured Query Language (SQL) is a programming language for storing, retrieving and manipulating data stored in databases.
MongoDB is a popular NoSQL database, widely known for its power and scalability.
Create your own APIs to provide other applications with services and data on demand. Further deepen your knowledge in build tools and deployment of live applications.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Express is a powerful NodeJS framework, offering a variety of features that will allow you to write powerful backend code.
It’s time to put everything you have learned to use: build a full-scale project from the ground up, with teammates, in conditions similar to those you will meet in the tech industry itself. Design something for use in the real world, and showcase it in your portfolio once you start applying for jobs.
Prior to the beginning of the bootcamp, we will give you access to our Primer. This is an introduction to the basic concepts you will be dealing with in your classes, including a thorough preparation in HTML and CSS, and it is designed to be interactive and inclusive of exercises. The Primer is mandatory for all students, as we want to make sure that everyone will hit the ground running.
During the course, the structure of the weeks will vary to adapt to the learning content of the moment, but in general this is what a typical week looks like. Please note that the course is also available in a full-time format if the following schedule is not suitable for you.
Learning software development on your own is tough. At WBS CODING SCHOOL you can count on the full support of your instructors and classmates. Each class has an assigned full-time lead instructor and additional teaching assistants in accordance with the number of students. There is always someone to help you when you need it.
Get awarded with a WBS CODING SCHOOL Graduation Certificate. The document testifies to employers the acquisition of precise skills in Web Development. Expect this to become a staple of your tech-related CV or professional profile to help you open up a whole new world of opportunities in the international job market.
